This blog is a list of books I have found most useful, I will look to add to this as I find new ones. 1. Books 1. Datawarehouse Design – [The Data Warehouse Toolkit: Third Edition](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Data-Warehouse-Toolkit-Dimensional-ebook/dp/B00DRZX6XS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382690209&sr=8-1&keywords=datawarehouse+toolkit) by Ralph Kimball and Margy Ross – The definitive workbook for all data modelling requirements that should be in every BI professional’s bag or on their Kindle! 2. SSAS  - [Expert Cube Development](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Development-Microsoft-Analysis-Services-ebook/dp/B0057FRUSS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382698385&sr=8-1&keywords=expert+cube+development) by Chris Webb, Marco Russo and Alberto Ferrari – Although this book says for SSAS 2008 it is completely relevant to SSAS 2012 and 2014. 3. SSIS – [SSIS 2012 Design Patterns](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Server-Integration-Services-Patterns-ebook/dp/B00992OBHS/ref=la_B005X3ATR8_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1382698505&sr=1-2) by Matt Masson, Tim Mitchell, Andy Leonard, Jessica Moss, Michelle Ufford – Great book to take you further with SSAS including a good chapter on PDW SSIS techniques and considerations. 4. SharePoint Business Intelligence – [MS SharePoint BI Unleashed](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-SharePoint-Intelligence-Unleashed-ebook/dp/B00503D22U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381236239&sr=8-1&keywords=microsoft+sharepoint+2010+business+intelligence+unleashed) by various authors – although this is for SHPNT 2010 it is also very valid for 2013 except the SSRS pieces. Also has a good guide for setting up a base SHPNT environment for BI. 5. MDX Reference Guide – [MDX with SSAS 2012 Cookbook](http://www.amazon.co.uk/MDX-SSAS-2012-Cookbook-ebook/dp/B00ESX1A0O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381236463&sr=8-2&keywords=MDX+cookbook) by Sherry Li and Tomislav Piasevoli – Great reference book for all things MDX which is key for any SSAS project. 6. Power View – [Visualising Data with Microsoft Power View](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Visualizing-Data-Microsoft-Power-View-ebook/dp/B0089LQAJC/ref=pd_sim_b_3) – a great overview of Power View along with some very useful videos. 7. SSAS Tabular – [Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services: The BISM Tabular Model](http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Server-Analysis-Services-ebook/dp/B008LYQ056/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1382699125&sr=1-1&keywords=tabular+model) – still one of the only books available on the Tabular model and a very useful book for getting started with Tabular data models.
