In January’s news, Covid-19 has brought more security risks. The Health Sector is to be on the frontline for cyber security due to the potential threats from nation states, criminal ransomware and the threat of disruption to the supply chains rolling out the vaccine. Malicious code was snuck into updates of the software Orion made by the company SolarWinds, who provide network-monitoring and other services to hundreds of thousands of companies across the world. It was the worst cyber-security attack experienced by the United States government.
